Although we are inundated with systemic disconnection and disbelonging inherent in our modern world, there continues to be a surge in desire for authentic connection, direct experience, and basic human dignity. This longing is the inspiration and guidepost for the learning spaces I create and facilitate.
My classrooms offer a container for experiencing Natural Deep Belonging and Vital Aliveness. They also offer an opportunity to experience ‘Heart Learning’, which engages our whole selves in the process of discovery: our minds, hearts, bodies, and especially our human hands, being fully available to have a direct, full experience of learning beyond surface-level logic.
Working through Heart Learning in this way allows the teachings themselves to come alive, and we begin to experience the gifts of each person’s Ancestral Lineage as they are revealed spontaneously in our groups.
As a devoted scholar of global healing and the arts of medicine, I hold myriad lenses simultaneously. My teachings offer a multi-faceted forum that incorporates diverse systems of knowledge, including Western Herbalism, Five Element Taoist Medicine, Mayan Spiritual Medicine Systems, Vajrayana Buddhism, Open Human Heart work, Color as Medicine, Energy Medicine, and Native American Indigenous Traditions. Because of my great love for each of these traditions, I respect each in its entirety, as well as in the ways that they complement one another.
I invite you to experience the precious essence of these world wisdom traditions through mindful embodiment and loving courage, unfolding our basic goodness and gentleness, embracing our belonging with this Earth. In this way, we will together become more available to sense and listen to that which we love, or would long to know.
